James DuBos’s entrepreneurial journey began over three decades ago, during which he encountered many of the same challenges faced by business owners today. Prior to founding The DuBos Group, Jim founded and co-founded seven(7) companies with 5, 6, 7, and 8 figure exits, including Transformyx, Ascendant Technology Partners, PE-Learn, Cohesive Technology Solutions, Premier1, R&D Networking, and BR Computer Services.
His other work includes roles as the Managing Director of Professional Services for Exodus Communications, Chief Operating Officer at SwyftConnect bringing broadband to underserved communities and as the First Chief Information Officer for the State of Louisiana under Gov. Murphy “Mike” Foster.
Jim has also served as the Executive Director for numerous Non-Profits including Catholic Youth World Network, a national youth organization serving more than 35,000 youth and 3000 volunteers. He also co-founded Thy Kingdom Come, Inc. (501c3), to create a media project called, The Catholic Mass…Revealed! which has been distributed to 40 countries to educate on the Catholic mass. He is currently serving as a Board trustee at FranU, a Catholic University offering degrees in nursing, health sciences, humanities, behavioral sciences and natural sciences.
When he’s not serving customers, Jim loves spending time with his family, as well as boating on the Gulf Coast with family and friends.
